3 Rounds for Time:
10 Deadlifts (270/190 #)
50 Double Unders (sub 4:1 singles or 1:1 tuck jumps)
Be ready to lift heavy tomorrow. 190 is pretty high but you need to be at about 80 percent of your max.
Bring your jumprope, water for cotton mouth, any "protection"
and go ahead and put a TOWEL IN YOUR GYM BAG PERMANENTLY!
They are not going to gig us on anything!
Are we still posting our times? I did it in 14:20 with 115lb DLs and tuck jumps/regular jumprope combo.
ReplyDeleteawesome job, Joni!! When I did this in December, I did 155# and finished in 13:30, doing 200 singles. I think I should have gone slightly lighter to keep the intensity higher! Everyone did really well this morning, pushing themselves!
ReplyDeleteHi ladies! Sorry I couldn't make it today, husband is away so can't get away in the mornings with sleeping kiddos! Just did the WOD, 145lb DL, double unders (hit my new max at 33 today-woohoo!) in 6.36. Love fast and furious ones, especially on a day when you just want to get it done! My low back is numb right now though..good stuff!
ReplyDeleteok... 11:29 with 115lbs and singles
ReplyDeletegood job ladies!!! and we missed you Heather!!
Sorry I couldn't make it this morning -- poor Luke has double ear infections and cried all night (and from 5am this morning until I drove him around he passed out at about 6:25). Just did the workout in the garage: 115# deadlifts, regular jump ropes (man, those were a killer!), 12:23.
