Monday 30 January Group WOD

I still don't have a voice!!  I am not going to be able to coach in the morning, or call out your times.  (Unless, by some miracle, I am healed!!!)

SO!  Come to Arvin, bring your watch, your jump rope, and some water, for this total smoker...I did this one over Christmas, and it was NOT FUN.   We can thank Kristen for saving all of you from more burpees, by the way!

Rope, Run, and Ride

100 Double Unders (sub 400 singles OR 100 tuck jumps!)
Run 1 mile
Bike 5K
Run 1 mile
100 Double Unders

We will use the treadmills and the stationary bikes to complete this WOD.  This one takes a little longer (our group will probably be between 30 and 40 min) so We will start at 6 am SHARP.  :)  See you in the morning!!

  5. Nothing like kicking off the week with a killer workout! It was tough, but I feel so accomplished (and tired). Thanks, Leigh!

Oh, and it looks like my new jump ropes should arrive today, so I'll be all set the next time we need them.

Kristen (I can't figure out why I can't get it to display my name. Go figure!)

  6. Anyone interested in doing this later this afternoon or evening? I was still recovering from food poisening this morning but feel better now!

And ideas for how to do the bike portion/substitutions that I can do with a baby? She'd be happy to watch me jump rope and will run in the stroller but not I can't exactly have her sit in the gym while I bike.

  7. Debbie, after the rope, you could run your one mile on the flat road, then find a hill in your neighborhood, and run up it 4-5 times (slow jog down). Then do another flat mile followed by the rope. I am sorry you couldn't make it this morning! See you soon!

  9. Hey gals...gotta love when your husband tells you the night before the wOD that he has to be in at 5:00. Guess here at WP that trumps your scheduled workout :( I did go to the gym and did the workout from Friday (pullups, push-ups and air squats)...my arms are smoked. If my air is a wreck today it's because I didn't have the strength in my arms to hold the blowdryer :) Hopefully I don't get trumped again on Wed. morning. Looking forward to seeing you all
